Can I use infopath submit data connection to copy field data from an infopath form library field to a task list? Or can I design a workflow to accomplish this? If so how?

We have had a few issues recently from a MS update that changed the way InfoPath stores time. Time was stored as 06:00:00. Now it includes the offset 06:00:00-4:00. This is further compounded by the recent time change. Forms that were submitted before Saturday night now show every time one hour earlier ...

Thank you so much for your help - You've been so helpful.
I created a rule on the button so that the fields value is actually changed prior to submission and now it all works, changing the values.

Sorry, I don't think I have understood the scenario.
When will the user be emailed? When the form is published to the form library? When a button is clicked in the form (perhaps to submit the form)?

Picking up speed now with qRules.
Since IT granted me a virtual network to install the qRules I can now apprecaite the utility.
Once I have injected a few forms - next will be the cloud security issues to breech.
