Just wanted to update this with the outcome of our conversation earlier - SharePoint gave you some crazy column names to work with, but the issue was not with your filter, you had that right. The problem was that with the list column names changing, other rules now had incorrect XPath / field references.

New to forum and hopefully posted to the right category...
Relatively new to IP and have implemented cascading hide/show formatting rules to my form based on user response for Yes/No questions. The challenge that I'm facing is for scenarios where users go back to an earlier question and change their response, all answers provided up to ...

The issue
appears to have involved DBXL not being able to connect to the database server.
Complicating matters appears to have been some strange behavior with SharePoint

Hi InfoPathers,
I am attempting to prevent users from saving a form if there are validation errors. Note: I cannot eliminate the ability to save, as I offer the ability to save forms locally for offline use.
Users are abusing the save functionality to override field validation. Is there a way in the form save event ('07 Form ...

Hi,
I have two rules A and B on a button click. Rule B runs after rule A. If rule A fails to run due to an error, rule B does not run. I want to run rule B even when rule A fails to run. How can I achieve this?
Thanks,
Santosh

I am currently working all the non-Qdabra issues. The post was my way of getting a heads up of anything that you may have uncovered with your products since the ugrade. Once I can get some of the SSev A tickets closed with MS I am going to start working on the apps that are using your tools. I will keep you posted.

If you have not tested your tools this week, you may encounter problems. Microsoft has upgraded SharePoint and there are many issues and changes. If you are unaware of these changes, I ...

If you mean a promoted property in your form (and thus a column in a form library), you should have the options First, Merge, etc when promoting the field. If you're only seeing the first entry, perhaps First is selected. Try to modify your promoted properties and use Merge instead.

I don't believe this is possible with InfoPath's out of the box functionality. It would require a more advanced method.
We recommend using qRules for this. You can watch a video demo here or read Hilary's excellent walkthrough here.
Good luck!
