Will you please restate your question. I don't follow what the issue is or what exactly you are trying to accomplish.
-
I'm not sure whether you have any control over this.

Sorry, InfoPath 2003 does not support web forms. That feature was introduced in InfoPath 2007.

http://WordDocument.doc is not even a valid hyperlink... What you need is to host your documents on a site somewhere (SharePoint?). Then you can create a hyperlink to the document on that site: http://www.somewebsite.com/folder/WordDocument.doc

System restore should have done it for you (provided you have a restore point before .NET 3.5 was installed). You cannot just accept the default restore point (which was the last one created). You must choose a different one--go through the list of available ones and locate one that was BEFORE .NET 3.5 was installed.

Technically, you are not accessing any manually entered option from the drop-down list box control. The control is bound to a DOM node, which stores the selected value. Sorry, you can't do this. Manually entered options are not accessible via code. You MUST populate your drop-down via your main or a seconary dom in order to do what you want. It's not hard, just create an XML file with the options you manually typed in.

I have not seen such an issue personally. There could be some other conflict involved.
To revert back without needed to reformat, use System Restore (a feature of Windows Vista and XP).

Thanks! Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
