Yeah, I'd think you could do this with a default on the selected price per qty field. Can you attach a copy of your form under the options tab in a reply?

I'm surprised by the infinite loop error - because if we are just setting ID by default then it sets its own items, I don't think we'd get a looping error. As to the initial error - that isn't one I've run into before. You may be able to switch to a REST connection to just retrieve the selected department, and add a second REST ...

Well - your SharePoint list already has this capability - select the form and in the ribbon, under File, select Download. Does that not do what you need?

Thanks for the update, it's good to know what the issue is. :)

Are any of your submits updates? I.e., updating existing items? I'd be concerned using the same mapping may give you blanks in some rows where you don't want them. Are any of your columns required?

Oh, good idea.... I can't remember if it was on the forum or in an email conversation, but I do recall talking to someone who had email issues w/ a mismatch.

You can extend the timeout in code for your data connection, yes - but I'm not sure why it would timeout for others and not for you? Did you try Fiddler?
-
You can certainly try - I took a quick stab at it before I replied, and the few changes I made only left me with errors. :) Compare the manifest to the source files for a normal browser form - there may be a way to do this.

Yes, exactly - I get the read-only prompt.... I use 64-bit Office, what are you using?

I'm sorry, I forgot to get back to you. This must be an email form, right? Because a regular InfoPath form with an email data connection does NOT pop up an editable email message....
