Hi Eamon,
Couple questions:
Are you trying to print the saved PDF file from Acrobat? What is the tool you are using?
You seem to say that the printing has to be done in landscape but that you want portrait. Are you saying that you can't figure out a way to scale the size down so that it prints portrait?
Thanks

If you navigate to Tools->Form Options->Advanced, you will see a section for Programming Language which states: "The programming language can only be set when no code exists in the form." To remove the code, you will have to extract the form files from the XSN (File->Extract Form Files). Close the Designer. Now, open the ...

Hi Gorka,
In order to programmatically print, you have to make the form Full Trust (since print requires level 3 security). That will mean either signing the template using a digital certificate or creating an MSI via regform (which disables autoupdate). Both will incur an IT cost. That's why we don't recommend Full Trust. However, for a ...

Hi Michael,
E-fax provides an SDK that you can programmatically invoke to send faxes. Of course, that requires a fax account with them and some code to call their APIs. We never created the "tool" that I suggested we would "over the weekend" .
However, we would be very happy to help you create a fax solution for your ...

Hi Kon,
We can likely modify the Excel to InfoPath conversion tool to meet your needs but it will take some time. If you are willing to pay for time and materials we'd be happy to help. My guess is that it would be on the order of two 5 hour support packs (See http://www.qdabra.com/products_all.asp?cat=12). The result would be a tool ...

Hi Ed,
Well, you could copy the data into the main data source, or just write some code to filter it. The default filtering may not support 2DS (secondary data sources), but that shouldn't be a "dead in the water" event. Are you pulling your 2DS from a database? If it's SQL, why not just install our Database Accelerator and get ...

The key steps are to add the web service path to your list of excluded paths, so that SharePoint doesn't intercept it.
I think we have this documented in the installation notes for the DBXL Web Service Suite. More soon,

oops! on MOSS 2007, you don't have to exclude any managed paths. So, ignore that previous comment. ...

Probably has to do with the LDAP configuration string for your domain. Can you open the Web.Config and search for LDAP and paste the string into a reply here?

Hi Sharksfan! Sorry for the delay in responding.
If you want to filter what is returned from the server, you will have to use a Web Service. SharePoint provides a bunch of Web services, but I'm not sure if they allow filtering on a list. We do this a lot using our Database Accelerator. We filter the contents from SQL. In order to do the ...

Hi Adam,
What version of .NET do you have installed on that machine?
