Happy to help. Have a great weekend!

Save the attached copy locally. Right click the saved file and select Design to open in design mode - from there you can preview and try it out. Since your data isn't repeating, we have to add the count of the filtered instances of each node together. :)

Are you working with a customized list form? Or with a regular InfoPath form? In a standard IP form, just right click the node in the Fields task pane, and set it to cannot be blank.... I don't know if you can make an attachment required the same way in a list form.
-
Any chance you can attach a copy of your form in a reply? Under the Options tab you can attach a file. The approach may vary based on your form schema.

The only thing I can think of is to write the image off to a picture library and replace it with a link. If you are using Office 365 that gets tough, because you can't have forms with code (we make an InfoPath replacement called FormsViewer that can do this tho)...

Also - you may find this MSDN link helpful: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/aa945227.aspx

What a pain - I am not sure what went wrong, but it seems like something on the list level, since your old versions also stopped working. Did you try just republishing an old version after resetting instead of rebuilding from scratch?

Try using a foreach if you need to iterate through the entire set of records - I am having a hard time making sense of your code other than the first two lines (try using IE when posting to the forum - it is an older version and does best with IE).foreach(XPathNavigator kit in KitItem)
{ //do stuff here}

So, one way to set up a double eval looks like this:
eval(eval(AccountId, 'concat(., ";")'), "..")
Use the button for select a field or group to select the AccountId node.
Then for your enhancement:
eval(eval(AccountId, 'concat(substring-after(., "GLOBAL\"), ";")'), ...

Hooray! Glad that worked for you.
