You didn't find my blog in your searches? Here it is just in case:
InfoPath - Get user information without writing code (extended)
Also, as a hint, another method that may be more straightforward is to use GetCommonManager, because that accepts the same value as GetUserProfileByName, but automatically returns a subset of ...

that link is talking about rich text fields, which behave much differently.
Please create a new thread with your exact problem in much more detail if you don't mind, because this reply is buried deep inside a long-ago answered thread. Please explain exactly what you mean by "a dropdown box repeated into a text box." ...

That works except I'm not sure what would go in the other dropdowns. If they are just text fields, then that makes sense, but if they are dropdowns, what would go in them other than one value (question for Irianna)?
You can also use default values with the same method as a rule. One cool thing about IP10 is that default values, ...

Installable, yes, if they have InfoPath. Browser form, no, unless you are able to custom create your own platform that allows for it. Qdabra has this ability, but it's not something done overnight.

Yeah, the data types don't match when you do that. I have a workaround on my blog that was actually written by someone else before I got around to making my blog:
InfoPath – Using [ME] to Filter Form Library Views Based on Form Metadata
Basically, you have to promote your InfoPath field with the user info and then use ...

For #1, I don't understand the problem nor the scenario. Explain what you mean by 2 users working in this form. Only one user can work on the form at a time, so any changes made by user 1 would be reflected in the form when opened by user 2. if you're talking about them creating separate forms, then whatever logic ...

Manu, that's not the full URL and doesn't have a Source attribute for pointing the browser to a return location. It may "work," but it's not complete. No reason to not use what I wrote above I don't think.
