Hi,
I think you will need to provide a little more information on your schema, both on the InfoPath and Database ends. If you are having trouble with how your database trigger is behaving I would reccommend hooking up the SQL Server Profiler so that you can watch what exactly is happening and when. This will also allow you to see any error ...

Hi ekzarov,
I really don't get what you're saying here. There should definitely be a way to get at this using code. It might be a little bit of a hack, but it should be doable. Please elaborate so that I can give more specific instructions.

Hi Hmalkan,
I don't think there is an easy way to do this. You should put a message at the top of the page explaining to users how to walk through these steps if they ever hit a problem.

Hi Susan,
Sorry for the late reply, did you ever get this figured out? I think we will need a more detailed description of the event if you would like more help. A screenshot of the error as well as what exactly you are trying to accomplish would be helpful.

Hi kieriosity and welcome to the forums! You have come to the right place for InfoPath questions!
Wow, I think you have found a bug. Maybe the spelling parser is just taking a really long time to get down to the part of the XSL that is below the drop-down list, since it is so long. If you can reply with a consitent repro ...

Hi buzzby,
For the problems with CAML I would suggest taking a look at these two links. The SharePoint SDK has a great section on CAML and how to formulate everything. The second link is a program that will construct the CAML query for ...

Aloha kaleo!
Although the tutorial was written for InfoPath 2003, I think you should be able to accomplish the same thing in IP2007, but the steps will be a little different. However, this tutorial describes something that is not best practice: manually editing the view XSL. I think a better solution for you would be to populate the ...

Hi ekzarov,
This seems like it would be tricky. There might be a configuration option buried deep within the SharePoint configuration, but a better bet might be to just open the page in SharePoint designer and hack away at the underlying HTML. Let us know if you figure it out, good luck!

Hi troy0118,
I think the problem here is that when the date comes back from the database, it is not in the right format. Try looking at the date returned from the DB in a straight textbox without formatting to look at how the database is returning it. You might have to write some code that alters the date formatting whenever you pull ...
