Only thing I can think of would be to use SharePoint workflow for this. Have a field in the form you use for the original file name (so it isn't impacted by field changes) and promote it with the setting that it can be modified from the list. Run workflow on items, check to see if they need to be renamed - if so, rename and update that ...

Hi - sorry I missed this last week. If you are getting an error based on the list threshold, usually adding indexes to the columns you are likely to query on will resolve that issue.

Based on the logic you outlined, I'd actually use 4 rules - I'm attaching a simple sample. Right click the link in the post header, and save the file locally. Right click the saved file and select design - from there you can preview and try it out. :)

I don't think you'll be able to restrict their ability to pick a date - however, you could run validation after the date has been entered. Is that acceptable?
-
You could use a secondary data source for the values - set up lists in SharePoint with the required values, add data connections to the lists, and use those for the values for the dropdowns / multi-selects. Then give your user permissions to the lists so they can edit the values.

Are you using SharePoint workflow for this?

Unfortunately, I don't think there is any way to do that. I think you'll need to start from scratch - just recreate the rules & controls in a new template part.

Hooray! Glad you have it working!

Add a rule on the repeating group to set the field. It will set it when a new section is inserted.
