There are numerous blogs and threads on this site regarding filtered cascading dropdowns. You don't want conditional formatting. What you want is filtering of the dropdowns. Go to Greg's blog and search for "filter cascading dropdowns" or "current()" and you should find some stuff. If you have thousands of rows in ...

Hi Gicio,
Can you explain what you are doing? Are you saving the XML forms to MOSS/SharePoint or to a separate database? MOSS supports search and that is completely independent of browser-based forms, so it should work fine. Did you configure search for the site? Did you configure search for the form library? What did you actually do? Are you ...

Hi T. Tran and welcome to our forum,
To submit to multiple databases you will likely need to write a lot of code in your form or leverage an existing Web service. We provide a Web service that supports this scenario. There's a free download of it available here: http://www.qdabra.com/proddetail.asp?prod=QDBXL1. This web service provides ...

Hi Sboyddyn,
Maybe InfoPath is still running behind the scenes. You can press ctrl-alt-del and click Task Manager. Then, click on the Process tab and select the Image Name column to sort by name. Look down in the list. If you see InfoPath.exe, you can end the process and then try to open the form. Hope this helps.

If you were saving your data into SQL, you could define a child table for those values and quickly populate from the child table. It's because of this limitation, and many others, that we created our Database Accelerator web ...

Hi Hmalkan and welcome,
So, it sounds like you have two InfoPath forms (form A and form B) and you want to auto-populate values in form B with values from form A. Is that correct? Are these forms in separate form libraries on your SharePoint site? How does the workflow work? Do users open Form B and do File->Merge Forms from Form A? Or, are ...

You will definitely need a UDC. Please download the UDC Editor and tell us what you think.

Well, this is the problem. Running on a share is more restrictive than Domain Trust. I've explained why in other posts. Anyway, the solution is to publish the form to a Website so that it can be Domain trust. Access is not a best practice for groups of people and you'll want to move to SQL. You could use MSDE or SQL EXPRESS - both of these ...

Hi Peter,
Did you read the link? You need at least two evals to get the recursion working. One eval won't do it.
Good luck!
