Qdabra has a tool to convert Excel to XML InfoPath documents which then could be used for your data comparison and submit to SharePoint.
You can email their contact email for information.

Hi Tal.
You either need to make your form naming scheme more unique, use a time stamp or something so that the files remain unique.
Or make the form so that it only can be submitted once or use a read-only view so that the read-only people do not save. Or you can turn off overwrite in SharePoint.

In the setup of the data connection where you set the file name you can use the FX button to create a concatenation of fields for the file name.
You may not have done this or the field you specified is blank of something.
Modify your submit data connection and check it out.

Is this an existing database?
There should be a relationship between the two tables.
You should be able to design a new form.
Based on the orders table, add a second table which is tracking and define the relationship.
The default form, if you drag everything on should be able to show you this in two repeating tables.

Need a bit more details on exactly what is happening when it breaks.
I am guessing it is querying a data connection with lots of records, but detail exactly what is firing leading up to the issue.and how it does in the client vs the browser.
Any thing in the design checker?

If you have SP 2007 you should check out UDCs Universl Data Connections.
This gives you a common set of data connections that forms reference and these can be replicated to each site or be global.
Alternatly DCs can be manually updated by extracting and editing the manifest file.

Yes, exactly.
Your submit should be via rules
first action submit main
2nd set query field
3rd query main
This would be how to submit and reset automatically in one click by the user.
All they will see is the form reset and a confirmation of the submit.

OK
The challenges with breaking up your form is that there is a consistency issue. I am guessing these are just read-only views but if yoiu seperated them then they could not really be updated unless you used a central data repository. I would think seperatimg your data would not be good. I would recommend one library.

I havbe not encountered this but I am guessing these are high res images.
Are the images being embedded in the form or are you linking to them?
I would advise SQL over Access if this is going to be a production form for multiple users.
I would also recommend the Qdabra suite for webservices for SQL integration. This would allow the images to be ...

I would do a dump of your secondary data source and check the data that is coming in.
1 make sure you are querying the dataconnection before you try to use it.
2 sometimes the SQL can have leading or trailing space or some other reason why the data match might not work.
