Hi AlexK,
The data representation of the number field will not contain commas. That's just formatting for display. Please make sure the data type is Whole Number or Decimal. Those will support comma formatting, but the data format will be what you expect. To verify, you can save your form as XML, open in Notepad (or similar) and search for ...

Hi again,
Our qRules common library plugin supports this. We provide qRules to help save time and the trial is free. We use the sales to pay for our time answering posts so we don't generally answer code posts if qRules commands support the scenario. Sorry, for the long-winded answer. qRules supports saving attachments to document libraries ...

Hi EMSCA and welcome,
Please don't go to C# in the form as it is most likely not required and will create additional maintenance cost for you or your company down-the-road.
Your image didn't come through - not sure why, but I am a bit in the dark on what you are trying to do.
My hunch is that you just need to change the design of your ...

Believe me, we feel your pain. I'm going to defer to Hilary and Jimmy and others for advice on the coding. What I can tell you is that things dramatically changed and there was no "good story" for developing code with InfoPath forms.
However, most forms don't need code, and those that do, can use our qRules plugin ...

Is this SharePoint 2010? If so, just set the value in the QueryFields for the secondary data source first and then run the query. It will filter server-side which is faster. There are some limitations to filtering in the form for browser-based forms, which is what you have with the Webpart.
If this is SharePoint 2007, you don't have the ...

Hi Ferrominera,
Maybe it's because there's case difference. The comparison is case sensitive, so if the username is returning all lower case "smith" and your rule is comparing against "Smith" it will fail. To solve this, you want to use the translate function. Search this forum for "translate case" and ...

Hi Kully,
ElCapitan1987 is correct. Just add another rule+action to your button which submits to SharePoint. Probably you should do this before you send the email since if it fails the submit (for example, if they are offline), you will want to error out and not send email.
Good luck!
