Hi Thierry,
Great to see you here again. Maybe I am on drugs, but it looks like you are trying to use InfoPath's 2007 object model inside of InfoPath 2003 object model. You can't do that! Upgrade your form to InfoPath 2007 object model (OM), or make do with InfoPath 2003 OM.
You're the best,

Hi Swapna_l9 and welcome to the forum,
You'll want to use a rule with multiple actoins. One action submits to the database and another to e-mail or a SharePoint form library. Submitting to a SharePoint list is not support out-of-the-box. We have a tool that does it, but a Form Library is easy to set up and that doesn't require anything ...

Hi Steve,
Is your data connection named "Submit"? That's probably the issue. It has to have the same name.

Hi Meister of Gross and I'm really sorry for being so lame in my late response,
Anyway, I would try restarting IIS. If you keep getting the error, you should search the Microsoft KB site for the w3wp and Form Server updates (make sure you have the latest and greatest installed). Search for the exception string and then contact Microsoft. ...

Hi Sober,
Maybe you just need to drink some special SharePoint potion! :) Before I prescribe the appropriate elixir, can you look at your log file and send us any errors you find there?

Sorry I missed this last week. SharePoint lists can be queried with our Web Service http://www.infopathdev.com/files/folders/dbxldownload/entry34123.aspx . Comes with a query builder tool that makes it easy to build custom queries. After installing the Web Service, just create a UDC connection in your connection library to the Web Service and ...

Note that you will still end up downloading all items to your form. If you have a large query that could take time. To reduce the time and filter dynamically, take a look at our Web Service Solution Pack which lets you filter SharePoint lists or SQL tables using fields in your form. Because the filtering happens in the Web Service layer, the ...

Hi Ravi,
Thanks for the detailed response. My guess is the same as yours - task form probably doesn't allow you to see comments from other tasks. Our comment history template part lets you see comment history in one InfoPath form, but it is not the same as the default task form in SharePoint workflow. I'm guessing you want to do this ...

I'm sorry Rachel and Ravi, but I have no idea. Perhaps, if you explained your problem with more details we could understand more and have some ideas. We don't use the Custom Task Form though, so unfortunately, we are not well positioned to provide help on this. Maybe someone else in the forum can help out.
