Hi,
You need to use the current() function to tell your cost field that it wants the meal field on the current row.
Your cost field's default value would be something like:
xdXDocument:GetDOM("MySharePointList")/dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/d:SharePointListItem_RW/d:Cost[../d:Meal = current()/../my:meal]

Here is my scenario: I have created a Timesheet form in Infopath 2010 that has a receive data connection to a SQL database, which I set up through DBXL. The SQL table my form is connected to contains a hierarchy for my company. In the form, I have a dropdown box that lists all of the Employee ID Numbers in the SQL table and when a user selects ...

Thanks Hilary

Thanks!

When you close the window, you'll get a warning. I actually use a free product called 7zip, so I can extract to a new folder directly from the right click menu on an XSN - if you ...

Hilary,
Thank you very much for your reply. I was aware of converting the XSN to a CAB file but I can't get it to work. I renamed my form to FormName.cab but it still shows as an xsn file. Is there somewhere else to do this at?
Thank you,
Marc
