Last » Re: Word Print View in IP 2010 I never ever noticed there was a separate template for a Filler Form. I assume the difference is simply that it doesn't restrict me to browser-compatible components. The support for printing multiple views is unfortunately only half-baked - even though you can set each individual view to print in a different orientation, the dialog ... Posted to Views (Forum) by Graeme on 05-15-2012 Word Print View in IP 2010 I can't find the option for adding a print view for word in IP 2010. I see articles referring to it in 2007... Is it still there? Any link to a walkthrough or tutorial would be appreciated too. Or is there a better way to have a form print one view in portrait mode and one in landscape with one click? Posted to Views (Forum) by Graeme on 05-15-2012 Re: Select Certificate dialog Sorry, it's a while ago since I posted that - but it seems straight forward enough: the dialog for selecting a certificate in Infopath only shows those certificates having a private key and a digital signature. You'll need to use some tool to create such a cert, or buy one. I use a certificate provided by my company so ... Posted to General (Forum) by Graeme on 10-05-2010 Re: File downloaded from website doesn't always open in Infopath Yes, we have 2003 & 2007 installed. All PCs should be set to open 2007 by default but some try to use 2003 and get an error. Some even open the xml in the browser, and I assume if people install another xml program it will usurp the file extension (on my PC sometimes it opens in Visual Studio). I need to know which registry ... Posted to General (Forum) by Graeme on 10-03-2010 Re: File downloaded from website doesn't always open in Infopath Still no-one there with an opinion/explanation? I tried changing the mime type to text/xml and the xml simply opens in the Internet Explorer window - the download dialog lists the type as "xml file". Using the above mime type, IE correctly identifies the file as Infopath, yet I still have the 2003 vs 2007 issue... Posted to General (Forum) by Graeme on 10-01-2010 Re: File downloaded from website doesn't always open in Infopath Yes, changing the setting on the machines to make Infopath the default xml editor fixes this - but I can never be sure users won't install other software that usurps it again. Besides, relying on a 3 character file name seems so 1980's. What is the purpose of setting the MIME type if it is ignored? I looked at Shiraz article, ... Posted to General (Forum) by Graeme on 09-27-2010 File downloaded from website doesn't always open in Infopath I am downloading an Infopath form as an xml string from IIS and want it to open in Infopath. I set the ContentType to "application/ms-infopath.xml" (not sure where I got that from). On some machines it is fine, on others the xml opens in the browser, or in Visual Studio or some other xml editor, even though Infopath is ... Posted to General (Forum) by Graeme on 09-24-2010 Re: Copying secondary datasource to main datasource OK, I did some homework. Now I realise xsi:nil means the element MUST be empty. So I've added some xslt and my code works fine now. Here is the xslt - it adds the "my" namespace and adds xsi:nil to my two date fields if they are blank. String xsltString = @"<xsl:stylesheet ... Posted to General (Forum) by Graeme on 08-03-2010 Re: Copying secondary datasource to main datasource See attached. I'm using some xslt code that I found in one of your forums. The code that adds the nil attribute only adds it to the first Meeting record. BTW, what does xsi:nil actually do? Is it simply telling Infopath that null values are allowed? Or that the value must be null? Posted to General (Forum) by Graeme on 08-03-2010 Page 3 of 9 (81 items) < Previous 1 2 3 4 5 Next > ... Last » Copyright © 2003-2019 Qdabra Software.
