Hi all, Is there a way to standardise the naming of an infopath form when a user submits it to a sharepoint form library? Example: form title - username - form number Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the advise! is there any way of locking down a rule so the user cannot submit the form without filling out the text field, once having checked the checkbox. something more then a guide? cheers  

Hi people,    I’m trying to create a rule so when a user chooses a checkbox they are not able submit the form without filling in a text field.  Is there any way of achieving this? I have tried a few conditions with no success as the user is still able to submit the form.   thanks!!!

It's a pre existing form created a couple of years ago with a lot of data relating to it and i've been asked to restrict all write permissions once the state is closed to a certain user role. so all users can re open the form but not write to it.

Ok thank you so much i will try this. are you able to set fields other then text fields to Read Only?
