When I try it without a namespaceURI it tells me the prefix "my" is not defined, but I have read the MS article and checked the template and xmlns:my is defined in there. Element '{http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/infopath/2003/myXSD/2007-11-08T16:31:56}UID' is unexpected ... Unfortunately, our AUP restrictions stop me getting on to that link but I'll go hunting for the createNode method. Thanks again. I don't know how I ever programmed without Intellisense before! I don't know if this is a different context, but I'm still having a couple of problems with this. I'm trying to check the length of the nodes once I have ... Posted to Code (Forum) by ben.oates on 08-15-2008 Re: Navigating child nodes Thanks Hilary, that worked a treat. I thought I had tried that but I must have missed childNodes off the end! Programming with XML is proving trickier than I thought! Posted to Code (Forum) by ben.oates on 08-15-2008 Navigating child nodes Hi all... I'm trying to follow the instructions at this web site: http://www.devguru.com/Technologies/xmldom/quickref/node_childNodes.html I am writing a supposedly simple piece of code but I'm really struggling to get it right. It's probably some simple mistake I am making so I thought I would post it here. The code: Set oNode = ... I should point out that my button and expression box are both outside the repeating group in case that makes a difference. When the expression box displays ... Hi dlocc, Without seeing your code I'm going to have to imagine you have been careful to make sure it is identical, but have you checked the Properties of the Rich Text Box? Under the display tab I believe there is a paragraph breaks tick box that may not have a tick in it. Hope this helps, Ben Posted to Code (Forum) by ben.oates on 08-06-2008 Re: Add a field's value when new line is created.... I don't have 2007 so I can't send you an exact example of what you would be looking for, but you have already navigated to a node with the following line: XPathNavigator rtfNav = nav.SelectSingleNode("//my:rtfField", NamespaceManager); So what you would need to do is set the address of your drop down box in the place of ... The following seems to work:Sub XDocument_OnContextChange(eventObj) If eventObj.Type = "ContextNode" Then 'Selection or context in the form has changed. Write your code here to respond to the changes. 'Retrieve html object for task pane.Set oHTMLDoc = XDocument.View.Window.TaskPanes.Item(0).HTMLDocument.all 'Clear ... Posted to Code (Forum) by ben.oates on 08-05-2008 Re: Add a field's value when new line is created.... I don't quite understand. Would the drop down list be inside or outside of the rich text box? If it's outside, you would just replace "Line 1" with a .Text value from the node or attribute associated with the drop down box a similar way to what you have done for rtfNav. I would imagine that to be the case. Posted to Code (Forum) by ben.oates on 08-05-2008 Page 3 of 6 (55 items) < Previous 1 2 3 4 5 Next > ... Last » Copyright © 2003-2019 Qdabra Software.
