Hi Matt, I have the submit email working. But know I have a problem with my Action Items list. I was having trouble setting the properties for my text boxes assigned to the same Fields within the same CAML so I broke the CAML down into separate batch files and placed a table inside a repeating section with six rows and 2 columns. I ...

  • Is it possible to submit from InfoPath to a List in SharePoint that contains a column type (choice)?

I am trying to submit a from InfoPath to a list in SharePoint. Can I create a connection between the drop down list box in InfoPath and the choice box in SharePoint? It appears that the only way to submit to SharePoint is if all column types are single line of text. Is that correct?

Okay David, Thanks, that makes sense. I will try that in the morning. Just one more thing: 1. Will the table still show the title of the fields in the left column so the user will know what data to input even if that control is hidden? That is the part that I was confused about?

  • Re: Implemented the tutorial to add SharePoint list items with InfoPath???

Yes, I created a secondary data connection to a CAML source code (.XML) to submit a list to SharePoint. It creates 3 rows. Two of the fields will be populated via text box from user. Then I would like for the other field to contain a drop down list box which will contain a data connection to a SharePoint list. In design view, I can either create ...
