  • Re: Populating data from repeating tables

    Assuming I understood correctly this should answer your question: ''Add, remove, or modify form library columns on a SharePoint site When you design a Microsoft Office InfoPath 2003 form, you can specify whether or not you want data from specific fields in the form to appear as columns in the default view of a form library ... You can do this ...

  • Re: Repeating Cascading List from Sharepoint

    Thanks for the hint Greg, got my test one working now. the filter still needs the preceding-sibling test: not(. = ../preceding-sibling::dfs:Vehicles_-_Flat_data_Source/@Year) similarly the next two dropdowns will be not(. = ../preceding-sibling::dfs:Vehicles_-_Flat_data_Source[@Year = current()/my:Year]/@Make) and not(. = ...

  • Re: Repeating Cascading List from Sharepoint

    You can have the xml file loaded into sharepoint and thus use it elsewhere etc. admittedly a list is a little easier to maintain than an xml file. I'm presently trying to replicate your situation using the tutorial and a list in place of the xml datasource. I'll post the result tomorrow. I haven't yet applied the filter but being a list and not ...

  • Re: Repeating Cascading List from Sharepoint

    Hi ccarter, not sure what you mean by a list, a sharepoint list? Anyway, is there any reason you couldn't do this using xml? I did this myself with a hierarchical datasource and uploaded the xml file to sharepoint. In the case of xml the vehicle/@year refers to the year attribute of the vehicle element. Not sure that a list could have such a ...

  • Re: keeping focus on field after rule

    That example was from a html page. Node selection in InfoPath is more like this: var objField1 = XDocument.DOM.selectSingleNode(''//my:myFields/my:field1'');

  • Re: keeping focus on field after rule

    Here's a small sample, basically you need to know which node you want and use the .focus() method. function setfocus() { var myform = document.forms(0); var mycntrl = myform.elements(2); alert(mycntrl.name); mycntrl.focus(); }

  • Re: ADO security warning message

    Indeed it was the browser settings. In reference to the scripting idea I'm still not entirely sure if it's feasible but if it is then it's something I'd like to do if someone can offer some help in how to go about it.
