Thanks that got me started I think I need to make two new fields though for what I need. I just need to know how to show the text from two separate fields in one field.

This one is a doozy! I have a repeating table with 2 fields(fieldA over fieldB)in the same row and column. I want to run data validation on these fields in subsequent rows. Howdy, this is my first post. I'm creating a repeating table with one field that must be unique from other instances of the same field on differant rows. I can't have any duplicate data in this field. I'd like to use a pop up window to announce this error. Also,the field will be capturing both alpha and numeric data. Thanks
