Thanks for response. Is there a way to change the color of the box. I want red for changes made. and yellow if they have comments on that fiels. the comments are tied to a custom pane.

Is there a way to draw a red/yellow dashed line aroung a control to let other users know that the field has been modified? svallab

Thanks for the response. I am looking for expanding or collapsing each instance of the repeating table.

I am using infopath 2010. I have a fairly large repeating section. I want to collapse it and expand. Is it possible? if not, any other ideas are welcome.   svallab

Thanks for the Quick reply. I just found out about Custom Task Pane int infopath that we can use on the tracking and commenting. How hard will that be. Can you give some direction/steps how to use to track changes and comments on fields.  sv
