• Re: Publishing is causing prompt for login credentials?

I am having the exact same issue with another user. I designed the form. Published it to the library. Everything works great. I sent the other designer the template. It is a full trust template so she applied her code writing certificate. Yet when she tries to publish it, she gets prompted to enter her credentials. The catch is that she ...

  • Re: Working with attachments saved to library from InfoPath

Hi Patrick, Also after looking into this solution even more, it seems you are suggesting that we check in/out the form using the XTP..but that is not what I need. I need to be able to work with a document saved into a library, that was uploaded via the form. Checking in/out the form is not a problem. It's managing the ...

Thank you for the suggestion Patrick. We did purchase this check out product before and if my memory serves me correctly, it only works with Sharepoint server. We are using Foundation. Is my memory correct?

  • Working with attachments saved to library from InfoPath

I am using the SaveToSharePoint and DeleteFromSharePoint commands and I love them! However, our situation is that the files we are saving to the library from InfoPath will be edited frequently and by many people, so naturally, to ensure no one overwrites each other's changes, we want to enforce the check out feature. With the check ...

Yes that makes perfect sense. Wish I would've realized that hours and hours ago! I changed it to read: concat("GetAttachmentAttribute /xpath=/my:myFields/ my:attachmentsSection/my:group19/my:Attachments[", count(preceding-sibling::Attachments) + 1, "]/my:attachment /attr=Name") and it works perfectly! ...

The repeating node is Attachments. See screen shot that I have attached. I did try changing my command to this: concat("GetAttachmentAttribute /xpath=/my:myFields/ my:attachmentsSection/my:group19/my:Attachments/my:attachment [", count(preceding-sibling::Attachments) + 1, "] /attr=Name") but it still gave me ...

I have a file attachment control, in a repeating section so that there can be more than one, that need to be saved to a SharePoint list. I have it set up so that when an end user attaches a file with an invalid character in the file name, they will receive a message letting them know they have to rename the file before they can attach it and ...

  • Re: Need To Prepend data to filename BEFORE it is saved to SharePoint library

Is this solution to rename an attachment before saving it, possible for saving attachments to list items (rather than in a library as this example shows)? Here is my issue. I am saving attachments from a form to a list. Thanks to your forums, I have figured out how to check for invalid characters in the file name and then notify the ...
