Last » Re: IP2003 form is missing some IP2010 controls when opened in IP2010 Design mode Fantastic! Thank you! I didn't find any evidence of code and the Save As thing worked. Posted to Controls (Forum) by exemplaris on 11-10-2014 Re: IP2003 form is missing some IP2010 controls when opened in IP2010 Design mode Thank you for your response. I built most this form a few years ago and got a lot of help through these forums I honestly don't recall if some of that help included the addition of some special code or not. I would be grateful for your help in determining that. Also when you say "save in a different format" what exactly does that ... Posted to Controls (Forum) by exemplaris on 11-07-2014 IP2003 form is missing some IP2010 controls when opened in IP2010 Design mode I have a form that was originally designed in IP2003. I now have IP2010 and was making some updates to the form when I noticed that some of the controls available in IP2010 are not available notably Combo Box, Multiple-Selection List Box, Person/Group Picker etc. I've checked a few places online and it looks pretty involved converting an ... Posted to Controls (Forum) by exemplaris on 11-06-2014 How do I use the value returned by a Calculated Field set to "position()" in other fields? I have a repeating section that I have placed a Calculated Field into. I set the XPath expression to position(). That works fine. How do I use this value elsewhere? I would like to set the value in a text box to the same value as the Calculated Field but I don't know how to refernece it since it doesn't show in the field tree. I have ... Hi Hilary, I know it has been a while but I've been waiting to get a new work computer (Windows7, Office 2010). Well I have that now and I am still having this problem. I have noticed this problem on other forms that I have that have not been edited since there original publishing. I see a number of other people have had this problem when I ... I was afraid we might get to where you would say that. Well, I'll see what happens when my colleague trys it and if he has the same problem I'll start rebuilding. It's a bit unnerving to think that at any moment all that work could be lost again. But as you say at least I have a reference to work from. Thank ... No, unfortunately I am traveling and don't have access to another machine. I will send it to our company server and try to get one of my colleagues to open it up from there. I also just found that if I open the one you sent me it always opens to the 07 Robot Data view with the window at about half page height. If I ... Posted to General (Forum) by exemplaris on 04-24-2014 Re: "InfoPath cannot load the view. The view may have been modified to contain unsupported HTML such as frames." Okay, so I saved the file you sent. At first I was having problems opening it because it was looking for some permission from a temp folder on a D: drive. I assume that was where you copied it from. Anyway once I got past that I tried to open it in design mode and it took 7 or 8 attempts to open anything but it did finally open up the ... Posted to General (Forum) by exemplaris on 04-24-2014 Re: "InfoPath cannot load the view. The view may have been modified to contain unsupported HTML such as frames." I'm using InfoPath 2010 with Windows 7. This form has been created with this combination. The views that give me the error are 04 Worksheet, 05 Customer Data, 06 Application Data, 07 Robot Data. The rest of the higher numbers have not been started. View "01 Title, 02 Report No., 03 Choose Report" opens without any ... Oh, one thing that I forgot to mention. This message appears when I try to open the view in Design mode. It seems to open okay when I just open the form like I was going to fill it in.
