I'm trying to update a secondary data connection from inside javascript code connected to a button.   SQLserver database I know SQL, but cannot get this update statement to work.  updatedate is a valid datetime variable.    Code segment  ----- var query = "update TRANSMARTSPOD SET [EmailDate] = ...

I attached form but it is basically completely empty, since infopath crashes when I try to add the main data source.     Tried to attach data source, but wouldn't let me.

I can save the form without the data connection. I forgot to mention, Infopath crashes while designing the form, last step in the create data connection dialog.  

When I try to connect Infopath to a sqlserver datasource , it crashes. This happens on multiple PCs, including my brand new desktop. This crash is repeatable, and Microsoft is notified with a crash report. The datasource is a view in a SQLServer database. I can connect MS-Excel to the exact same datasource with no problem. Is this an Infopath bug? ...
