Hi Ernesto, I haven't seen this document before, but I did try something similar in a blog post that I found on the web site. Does it need to be a fresh sub site or will it work with a site that has existing document types of the same name? Ged Posted to Qdabra Database Accelerator (Forum) by GedCT on 01-24-2011 Re: Something I've done has changed the sharepoint linking - don't understand why. I only get this message if the template file is not saved as the template.xsn. Check the box in DAT to publish library and XSN and it all works fine. However, I have a form library with four content types and hence I can't always engineer this. Any suggestions? Posted to Qdabra Database Accelerator (Forum) by GedCT on 01-24-2011 Re: Something I've done has changed the sharepoint linking - don't understand why. Quick update. The issue that was affecting a single set of forms and form library is now affecting all of the forms with the following error: InfoPath cannot submit the form. An error occurred while the form was being submitted. The SOAP response indicates that an error occurred on the server: System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: ... Hi Ted, Didn't resolve the issue on the live system. When trying to add a document via SharePoint the system complains that it cannot find the document type. However, I can successfully create a new document using the DBXLAdmin interface, open it via SharePoint and submit a revised version. Hi Ted, I can now access the Content Types functionality, but need to test it on the live system on Monday. I have a separate live system on the University network which I might have a go at this weekend just as practice for the clinical one. Ged Posted to Qdabra Database Accelerator (Forum) by GedCT on 01-21-2011 Re: Error 2869 when installing I encountered this error message when installing the latest version on my development domain and the issue was caused with the application pool account not having access to the SQL Server database. For me, it seemed to fail at the bootstrapping phase. You then browse to the file and it will be a linked resource to your template file. Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by GedCT on 01-21-2011 Re: Modifying a PO Template I would say it's probably easier to do it yourself - at least that way you'll be getting to grips with the tool and there are sufficient mathematical formulae available to do what you want. I assume the majority of it will be multiplication with a repeating table so that people can add further lines. I process all of my forms via ... Hi Ted, Will let you know once I've deployed the latest version onto my test system. Assuming that appears, then will put it into production. I'm hopeful this will solve it, as it definitely appears to be a content types issue - somehow the forms are mapping to the template.xsn file even where this doesn't exist. ... It's pretty much a WYSIWYG editor, but need to give some thought to how you want to submit and process the forms. Are you planning to use SharePoint for this, send by email, etc?
