You'll have edit the button's code (double click on the button and click on "Edit Form Code"). Now I have to figure out how to automate the installation process for this MSI file. Do you have any tips? I'll look throughout the forums for tips for the time being. Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by ocampod84 on 04-21-2009 Re: Issues creating MSI file in IP2007 Thanks for your response Hilary. I did installed SQL 2008 Express and I did have the VS 2008 shell, which I uninstalled with the Add/Remove programs applet, but InfoPath is still telling me that it cannot find VS 2005. This is funny, because when I use VSTO to modify the InfoPath form directly, I cannot select publish to MSI even within VS! I ... I'm an InfoPath noob as well, but I've worked with some VB in IP. Could you post your code so that others may try to understand what you are doing? Posted to Code (Forum) by ocampod84 on 04-20-2009 Re: Issues creating MSI file in IP2007 Madhuri, Thanks for your prompt response. Do you have any information that can help steer me in the right direction with this? Thanks! Instead, I get an error indicating that I need VS 2003 or 2005 in order to publish a MSI file. However, I do have VS 2005 Pro installed. In fact, I tried publishing the form to a MSI file within ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by ocampod84 on 04-20-2009 VB code to modify checkbox control Hello, I'm sort of an InfoPath noob and I get the basic idea behind programming InfoPath with VB, however I am having issues setting the value for a checkbox. I am using VB.NET 2005 to validate several controls once the checkbox is enabled. I know I could use rules and whatnot, but validating all it through rules can be cumbersome and ...
