I'm having a hard time understanding, I'm sorry. If you use IE, the forum won't remove your paragraph breaks - that would help with readability. I think the heart of your issue may be that multi-selects are actually bound to a repeating field - and there is no rule based ways to add new instances of a field. In a test form, add a ...

It sounds like you've tried everything I'd suggest. So - you are trying to download the XSN from the Form Server Templates library? And it also fails in Explorer view? I suppose you could wait till you don't have any users online and temporarily try to rename the file, just in case there is some truth to the path message.... ...

I'm sorry, I'm having a really hard time understanding these questions. Maybe attach the modified form? Or a screenshot?

Did you promote the other fields? You'd mentioned you referenced the fields in the other tables - do you mean in the data source pane, you used "Reference" to add same-named fields to different repeating groups? If so - that makes a copy of the field.

I've not seen this before. It sounds like you are saying that the promoted property, bound to a repeating field and set to display merged data, doesn't display all the data. And this is consistent across all the merged promoted properties? Does all the data display if the table only has 5 rows, or 10 rows? Or is there always one missing ...

Then the dropdown for LOB needs to be changed to use the new list for the data. You can either do that in the list, by changing LOB to a lookup, or in the form, by adding a data connection to the new list and setting ...

Ok. For the LOB issue, you'll need to create a list for those options - right now, you've manually added the choices, but if you want to have a cascading dropdown, you'll need a new SharePoint list for your LOBs that also include the group the LOB belongs to. For the "Tool" piece - you already have two radio options on the ...

Any chance you can attach a copy of your form to a reply under the options tab? How to do this depends on how your form is set up. :)

Do your dropdown values come from a secondary data source? Or have they been manually typed into the control's properties?

Your screenshot shows a form that was created from a data source of some kind - either a database or a web service. If you want to create a form from scratch, use New > Blank and add fields to the main data source.
