Hi Turboy,
Welcome to the Forum!
You can user to enter filename in the UI and use that. After taking username you can use
''thisXDocument.SaveAs(filename);'' to save the file.
But if you save file with code then your form needs fulltrust.
Other way is, if you are using sharepoint you can take a dataconnection to submit the form.

Hi,
RichText box can be binded to only main datasource nodes for editing.
If your webservice connection is a main dataconnection then you can bind your strings to a richtextbox. The reason for this is,
When you add a richtext box to UI then one reference of it is stored in manifest.xsf, This is for enabling richtext features. Most of the time ...

Hi Anis,
Welcome to the Forum!
If you are using .net code then you can use
''System.Environment.UserName;'' in the onload method to get username.
Other wise you can use ADservice webservicehttp://www.infopathdev.com/webstore/detail.aspx?itemid=18] to get username from the adservice.

HI Bryan,
1. Is your another user added to SPS as a user in your SPS?
2. If yes is your another user able to fill out a new form and submit it to sharepoint?
One more question is who is throwing ''Please go to www.bojik.com/error.pdf '' error message, is it sharepoint or InfoPath?

If you are publishing form to a shared location then you have permission set for that shared location. You can restrict users from writing to that location. If you do this, even if someone changes the design they cannot save to your design.
This is the case for any application not only to InfoPath application.
Probably you already know this but ...

Hi,
If it is regular list box, then OnAfterChange event fires immediately after you select a value. So you can load data into the secondary DOM which is bound to the control in the OnAfterChange event.
I think it should be possible with our control also.

Hi,
You are passing the node instead of string value to SetSaveAsDialogFileName.
Code should be
GMSRef = XDocument.DOM.selectSingleNode(''my:myFields/group3:Date'');
XDocument.UI.SetSaveAsDialogLocation(''c:\\test'');
XDocument.UI.SetSaveAsDialogFileName(GMSRef.text);
Hope this code works for you!

Hi,
One idea is to look for the cost node in OnContextChange event when you tab into cost node, keep this event in a global temp variable called previousContextNode.
When your OnContextChange event fires for the next time look if the previousContextNode was cost node. If it is cost node use thisXDocument.View.SelectText or ...

Hi,
There one thing that you can try here,
1. Take regular secondary dataconnection, which gets the data.
2. When you are submitting the form, change command of your dataconnection to insert values into DB. Now query the dataconnection.
See if this works!
3. Other things you can try is to write a stored proc to insert values to DB and set this ...

Hi,
Easy way that I can suggest here is
Select ''SITES'' nodes list,(using selectNodes() method)
Iterate through the Nodes list,(foreach sitesNode in SitesNodes)
Submit each node as an XML file to sharepoint.(submit siteNode to sharepoint)
I hope this what you are looking for!
