Extract your template file into one folder and then you will find Sample.xml and template. xml.
If you are using Infopath2003: File --> Extract Form Files
If you are using Infopath2007: File --> Save as Source Files

"Save" button is equivalnet to "Update" button.

In InfoPath 2007 Form Services, submit button will be used to create new form. And Update button will be used overwrite the existing form.

you can use the count function instead position:
count(preceding-sibling::my:<RepeatingGroupNodeName>) + 1

Which formula you are using for ROW increment. If you are "position()" function for ROW increment, it will not suppoer in the Browser Enabled form.

Hi, What values you are saving in the xml when we select Field1.1 and Field1.2. I am considering as for all first values it should be “1” and for second values it should be “2”. Add below Rule to the Field1.1 and field2.1.
Double Click on the Field1.1 to open properties window.
