Hi BoKnows and thank you for loving this site! :) We're all about InfoPath love here at InfoPathDev! :)
Unfortunately, out-of-box SQL connections won't support passing parameters. Yes, I know, it's a major gap. That's why we developed our WSSP Web Service and Query Builder tool. Check out free stuff here: ...

Great question and one that I have never ever seen before! :)
The really simple way to do this is to use a conditional Print View. Define a print view that is wrapped in one big conditional section. If the field is blank, you hide the section and instead display some message like "form is not complete - please make sure all required fields ...

Hi Leonj007 and welcome,
Matt Faus wrote a blog on how to do this: http://www.infopathdev.com/blogs/matt/archive/2005/11/29/Repeat-Table-Headers-Across-Multiple-Printed-Pages.aspx
It's not simple, but can be done.

Hi Juan Pablo and welcome,
InfoPath uses Internet Explorer's built-in auto-complete which remembers previously typed in values for a field. So, it is supported out-of-the-box. You can try it! :)
Another option is to just use a dropdown and type in the first characters of the selection (i.e. use type-ahead)
Good luck!

Hi Pankaj,
The only option is to make your form Full Trust and intercept the On Print event by writing some code. You *can* do this, but requires Full Trust which will increase deployment cost.

Hi Dan and welcome,

The retrieve data connection would be called first and it would give you a unique "handle" to the data. Then, use this handle to do the submit. Finally, ...

Hey Krishna,
If you don't want to do qRules, check this out: http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/p/7274/43897.aspx#43897

Hey, that's some killer xpath dude! :)
Our free qRules 1.7 (due out next week) will have an IsDirty rule which will use InfoPath's IsDirty bit and doesn't require an InitialState node, but while it's less work, it's not as clever as your approach. :)

Our FormsViewer viewer supports viewing forms in SharePoint or outside of SharePoint. However, submit is severely limited at this time and while we support rich text and image viewing, there are many restrictions.
