• Re: qrules - Using CopyTable in DB based Forms

Hi Alpha, we have noted this as a fix for the next release, but I don't have a date for that at the moment. I will post in this thread once it's fixed to let you know.

Hi Alpha, here is an update. I have been able to reproduce this issue locally. The cause might be because this is a repeating field with attributes, whereas CopyTable was developed with a different structure in mind (not attributes). I am investigating whether this can be fixed in qRules and will update this post once I have an answer. Thanks for ...

The first thing that catches my attention is /rowsrc=d:Documentos. What exactly is this source? Maybe I misunderstood your original question. qRules' CopyTable will copy data from one xml group to another, so yes, all the data needs to be in the InfoPath form before it can be moved around.

  • Re: Infopath active view email

This is a known issue in InfoPath: sending tables via email results in a distorted view. A workaround is described here: http://blogs.msdn.com/infopath/archive/2007/01/17/emailing-a-custom-view.aspx

Hi alphaeri. Thank you for trying qRules. Without seeing your form it will be difficult to troubleshoot this. I haven't tried qRules on a template based on a DB, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. If the form is InfoPath 2007, not a browser form and codeless, then qRules should work. Could you share with us the following? 1. ...

  • Re: How do I create dynamic button text based on fields in Infopath.

The simplest solution is exactly what you have described: insert 12 different submit buttons and add conditional formatting to each of them, in order to hide/show them as you need. Why do you want to avoid this? It's quite a common codeless strategy in InfoPath.

Does your form have code? It sounds like you'll need to admin-deploy the form. For attachments, do you see an Option tab when you reply? There's a File Attachment option there.

  • Re: Supress error mesage

I'm stumped. The form isn't going to know whether the ID is valid until after the web service call. So by then it's too late to catch this via rules and supress the error message. Is this a web service that you wrote?
