So - a web based form can never be offline. I don't understand why you would not just change your form's compatibility to filler, since you seem to intend to use filler forms?

Feel free to attach a copy of your form to a reply under options if you'd like a hand. I'd assume that you should, in design mode, take a look at the properties on this drop down - make sure the data connection and XPath filter for the data source are correct. You could even take a copy of the form, try deleting the drop down from the view ...

Numbers can't have a preceding zero, which is why you are having this problem. The field must be a string and then you'll need to use a formula to zero pad as needed (since once you hit 1000 you no longer need the preceding zero). Here's a thread on that: http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/p/20643/71474.aspx

Conditional formatting to display the secondary data in a repeating table inside a repeating section isn't possible - but it sounds like either of your suggested approaches would work. Personally, I prefer approach 1 with show / hide buttons to execute the query on the secondary data source - using a list box seems odd to me, because the user ...

So - query fields are only equivalence in the list data connection. You could add a show hide button that would set Field (in the list query fields) to Matrix and your new simple string field to the OverallLevel (be sure this control is inside the repeating group) and then run the query. This will return just the items that match on those two ...

Yes, you've posted your error before. I think the 'uniqueItems' is referring to a drop down control. You may want to save your form as source files and look for that in the view.xsl. Feel free to attach a copy in a reply under the options tab if you'd like me to take a look.

In your list with images, what is the field that relates back to the user's selections? Right now you are trying to compare on a multiline text field with contains. Could there instead be a regular text field in the list that exactly matched something selected in the repeating section so that we could use query fields to get back just the rows ...

I don't understand why you would do this. What you want to do as it stands is perfectly possibly, as demonstrated in my sample form. Is there a reason you don't want to use a lookup column in your Reserved Materials list?

Thank you for the additional explanation - I understand the issue and I also understand why conditional formatting doesn't work here (it is because you have a repeating section bound to different data source inside another repeating section - so "current()" won't work for us to get the parent repeating section values). What I am ...

So - in your prior post you talked about just querying for the data you need to show via query fields and show / hide buttons. I don't see that in this sample. What field in the main data source has a value we could use to query back just the data you need from the secondary data source for a given main data source section?
