Why not just use the free trial Web Service that we provide? It handles the mapping dynamically to multiple rows, and arbitrarily deep child tables and you don't have to write any code which means less maintenance and time. The Web Service is DBXL. It's got a free trial license and the perpetual server license for a single form is only ...

Hey KidCarson,
Our Database Accelerator Web Service (DBXL) supports full text search. There's a free trial download and the beginner server license is only $395. Comes with a SharePoint Web Part for searching your forms, or you can do it from the form. Easy as pie. Qdabra.com -> Products -> DBXL -> have fun, save time/money. ...

Hi Bill,
Thanks for posting. This is not a best practice because it will require full trust (unless you are writing javascript which isn't a best practice because MS no longer supports it and that's because it wasn't secure). Why do you need to do this? There's probably a better way to do what you want that can be done without ...

I think this is hard to do without writing some code. Rules to conditionally hide a section won't work because the view won't repaint until it comes back from the query (you might verify that, but that's my understanding). You need to write some code that shows your indicator and then goes off to query the list.

We've been getting a lot of requests for automatic tools to deploy to SharePoint. Rest assured that we are working on one, but it's not quite ready yet. Sorry about that. In the meantime, you could create your own or maybe someone else will respond. This is not a trivial task. There are SharePoint command line tools and I recommend you ...

Hey Unreal1998,
With Access, it's going to be difficult to do this on your own. Why not just get the free trial of our Database Accelerator which has built-in support for Audit History. You can use free MSDE or SQL-EXPRESS as your backend DB. I can show you ademo of how to do what you want in less than 45 minutes. The Beginner licence is only ...

Hi Tincup1983,
We'd have to look at your form and your code. Can you add those here?

Hi Leonj007,
You'll have to add some triggers to recompute the columns in the separated repeating tables and you'll probably want to use a node to store values in as you recompute it. Since the recompute is iterative, this will be hard to do without writing code. Not impossible though. Good luck.

Hi David,
Our free tool qRules provides for support to Save Images to SharePoint and replace with links in your form. The form's data source doesn't include the image node but rather the link. Doing this local wouldn't work with Domain Trust security model (best practice). You'd have to make the form Full Trust. Could be done ...

Hi Roman,
Hmmm. Well, you are no doubt filtering the forms that you are pulling. Must be an issue with the filtering. Rules are hard to debug. You can put alerts in the rules to make sure that actions are completing. I would need to know more about your form to offer more advice. Probably a simple filtering issue. If you are not using a Web ...
