Hi Doreen,
Could we check the Documents tab for this document type in DBXL? The reason I ask is I would like to know whether DBXL has one or two documents. If DBXL has two documents with the same DBXL::Name, the Title column in SharePoint won't allow a duplicate name, and therefore the DocID is added at the end and in parenthesis. If DBXL only ...

Hi-
What you're describing is just default SharePoint (browser form) behavior, and unfortunately there's nothing we can do either in qRules or in InfoPath to save your users those extra clicks.
Sorry!

Hi-
Yes, this is a pretty common question. Here's a blog post covering possible solutions:

Good luck!

Hi,
Welcome to the world of InfoPath. We have some beginner's training available here to get you started:

Using rules, you can only switch views on button clicks. I don't believe there's a way to switch views in the way you're describing unless custom code is used.
Why not use sections (which you can hide and show using conditions) instead of view switching?

I'm curious: did you add the checkbox to the secondary data source (the list data)? Or did you copy the data from the secondary data source to the main data source and add the checkbox there?
I'm attaching a simple example of what you could try. Hope this helps.

Hi-
You could try:
1. Adding the URL to Internet Explorer's Local Intranet
2. Changing the form from Restricted to Domain Permission level.
Or is there a reason why the form should be Restricted level?

Since you want to set the value of field1, you cannot have the rules on this same field. The rules will never fire.
When the values of /dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/my:SharePointListItem_RW/my:_x0079_r1 /dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/my:SharePointListItem_RW/my:_x0079_r2 and /dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/my:SharePointListItem_RW/my:_x0079_r3 change, ...

if Cal_Month = "Apr" or "May" or "Jun" Reporting_Qtr= 3

Hi-
You can design the form and add a new, valid certificate, then republish the form.
Good luck!
