Hi,
I forgot that with a digital signature you don't have to install the form to your machine - I have never done Full Trust with a digital signature before, oops! So my guess now is that the digital signature got some how corrupted. I would redo the whole signing process if you can.

Hi oldradio99,
This is weird. Were are the values that you are expecting coming from? Maybe the database is in a "transaction state" or something when you query it, which makes it unable to return the desired data.
Sorry if this is unhelpful, but we'll need a little more detail before we can properly debug your situation.

Hi zaphi,
Where are the events coming from that you want to make the task pane refresh? If the events are from actions on the view within InfoPath you will need to setup a polling looping in the JS of the task pane to detect these events. If the events are actions from within the task pane itself, then you can just use regular ...

Hi Basescu,
These nodes are found on the DOM that is created when you add the web service data connection to the form. On the Data Source taskpane there should be a drop-down that allows you to view the schemas from the various auxillary DOMs that the form has. You should find the web service connection in this list. Hi jdogan,
I have no idea why this isn't working. Can you repro in a blank new form with only a repeating section in it? What version of IP are you using?
You might also want to take a look at this blog post, it deals with the most complicated way to format your InfoPath view known to man: ...

Please don't double-post. This same post can be found in the Code forum, where I have replied.

Hi Fabian,
I agree that this is not the easiest thing in the world to do. I would suggest that you create a very simple test form that uses the plain vanila CAML and get it working. Then, once you understand things more clearly you can move on to getting it to work in your custom solution.

Hi Curious,
You will have to run the MSI or the JS script again to install the form into InfoPath's register. I guess this was wiped out with your hard drive.

Hi rs200,
For this scenario you will undoubtably have to write some strange code. I have never done this, so I can't tell you exactly, but you should do all of your data exchange between your business logic and the thread you want to run using straight C# objects and datatypes - don't try to access any of the implicit InfoPath ...

Hi abdelghafour,
Don't work about the size being different - we unpack and repack XSNs all the time, and I guess Microsoft is just using an old version of the cab compression when they make their XSNs, we always notice the size difference, too.
I'm not sure about your other problem tho. Does the XSN that you create open in ...
