Hi again, You can add a read-only view to your InfoPath form and add a rule on load that switches to this view if a form's field is equal to a certain value (for example, if Status = "Submitted"). You can also switch to this view before you email the form so that they don't get something in the Outlook email view. You'll ...

Hi Kully, Easiest thing to do here is to have the user print the form as PDF using the file->export option and then attach it to an email manually. You can automate this using a custom workflow (we have one that creates HTML), Word Automation on SharePoint server also outputs PDF, and there are third party tools like Muhimbi (which have ...

yes, you can do that with rules and xpath functions

Hi Tesoro, It's easy. Just add formatting rules to hide your buttons when certain conditions are met based on the workflow status and current user role. If you are using browser form (not InfoPath client) you can substitute user profile name (GetUserProfileName in SharePoint) for the user role. If you have a workflow section with multiple ...

We have done forms with large tables (200 rows x 20 columns) and they work fine in the InfoPath client but if you add rules and have updates, performance can ...

Hi Danilao and welcome! You need a rule that sets the area field to your secondary SharePoint list data source using the filters. In other words, if your SharePoint list has an "Area" you need to set your main data source area (the one that is the combobox) equal to the secondary Area filtered by Title and Name. Your filter is pretty ...
