I'd suggest having two sections: edit and email. Put all your editable fields in the edit section. When the user clicks a button, you hide this section then show the email section. The email section has read-only controls. Then you send email. Voila!

I've never seen anything like this. When I design a form, I make sure to set the Font Type and Size in all labels and controls, and these remain the same. Are you using InfoPath 2003 or 2007? Could you attach a sample form to see if it shows the varying text sizes on my machine?

Hi Matt,
I'm not familiar with your setup so forgive the questions.
- I'm assuming you are using a mapping in the SharePoint tab. How is this set up? Mapping to a SharePoint library on the same machine, or a separate machine? Using Publish Form and XSN or not?
- Is the xml document (stored in DBXL) updated with the modification, or is ...

Hola Joel,

For #1, if your form does not have code, you can inject it with qRules and use the SortTable command to sort your rows according to the dates. Otherwise, I believe you'll need to write your own code.
For #2, for the date picker you can change the way the date is displayed, but the xml stores it a different way. Then the dropdown will display ...

Is the form being opened in InfoPath or in the browser?
Look in Tools > Form Options and see if that is what you are looking to change...

Then, you can set that newly-inserted final row equal to the row that the user has selected in the 2DS (secondary data source). The process is documented here.
If you are already using ...

Sorry to hear you are having issues with our product. The URL in question (http://sharepoint01/QdabraAD/AdUserInfo.asmx) points to the server location of the webservice. You say the location does not open: did you get that error when trying to access the URL from your machine or from the server machine where the web service is installed? Try both, ...

Hi there,
I don't believe there is a way to send data from the browser (IPFS) to SQL. That's (one of the reasons why) Qdabra created DBXL: when you have a limitation for the end user (i.e. they all can't buy InfoPath), you can use server software like DBXL to bridge the gap and send the data to SQL tables.
