You'll have to write code and use a Full Trust form.

I've never seen this error and we've done counteless ShP forms. However, we usually put images and external resources outside of the form. Have you considered putting the form on a diet?

Hi Ben,
You'll have to parse the XSF to do that - it's not in the HTML object model.

Hi Mary,
There's an object model method called SelectText or SelectNodes (for a group) that will put the cursor in the field (or group) that you want. Take a look at the InfoPath 2003 SDK (InfoPath.dev->resources on right side of home page).

Hi again,
Save yourself loads of time and just install Qdabra's web service which maps your XML to SQL and lets you do all of your requirements without any code. If you absolutely need Access, set up a job to copy the data from SQL to Access. Send Qdabra.com e-mail if you have questions and someone will respond. Guaranteed you can have this ...

Hi Tom,
I have no idea. Best practice is to use a Web Service to submit to SQL. If you do that, it's fairly easy to setup a button to submit duplicates.
Cheers!

It's not worth the trouble to parse the XSLT. You could use IPFS and write some code to access the controls, but it'll be a lot of work. Why bother? Just do the submit from within InfoPath and use input parameters to pass data to it from ASPX.

Hi Ben,
Yes, you can do this with a 5NF XML data schema. You shouldn't do it with namespaces. That'll require code and may not work. You can do it with one namespace by just having a very normalized data schema. We've done it before. Makes the designer view huge (lots of conditional hide-show), but it works and is actually pretty ...

Hi NielDV,
Qdabra developed it's DBXL Web Service to address your need. It supports writing an XML node to SQL and that can be either the main data source or a secondary one. Free trial is available via Qdabra.com->Products and licensing is pretty cheap (starts <$500). Let us know if you have any questions. Should be a breeze ...

Hi Chris,
Just add another text box control and set conditional visibility to hide the dropdown if it's set to the "I'm not listed" and display the read-only text control with the e-mail address. Should be a piece of cake. Designer will look weird since you'll have two controls side by side, but runtime will be fine since ...
