Hi Karsten,
Another idea: use Qdabra's qRules 1.8 (free) to save the image to SharePoint and convert to a link. Switch your view to show a linked image instead of an attachment. Then you can control various things and your form size is smaller too.

Here's an idea, use qRules 2.0 to save the field to a SharePoint list and query the SharePoint list on load to fill in the default value. Qdabra charges $199 for qRules, but if you agree to provide a testimonial, you can get a copy for free. For details, send e-mail to Sales (at) Qdabra (dot) com.

Hi Oka-san,
Looks like a contraint issue. Because of DBXL’s design of updating child tables by deleting and reinserting, primary key constraints in a child table can cause problems. There’s a philosophical reason why we do this (“loose coupling”), but easiest check is to first try to remove your constraint or your primary key from the ...

Hi Lisa,
Sorry for not seeing this sooner, but you need to replace <SharePointSite> and <DocumentLibrary> with paths to your SharePointSite and DocumentLibrary URLs.
Good luck!

Remove the default value and use a rule (with no condition) that checks to see if the field is blank first before setting it equal to the today() value.

Hi Oka-san,
I'd be happy to look at your problem. I'm not sure what could be causing it. Deleting documents from SharePoint requires a special Delete "listener" add-in that deletes documents from DBXL, but you are deleting directly from DAT so it should work fine. The only thing I can think of is that the Doc Migration tool ...

Jimmy's post may help, but it limits what you can filter/query on. It's not totally dynamic like Qdabra's DBXL. Anyway, if you don't have any budget, you can try to add code on your own. You will need to do "Admin Deploy" of the form to Forms Services. It's a little tricky but not too bad. SharePoint 2010 removes the ...

Update takes longer than submit. Probably the server is just timing out.

Hi Bill,
The encrypted strings are the connection strings, so your hunch is correct. I have forwarded your question to our internal support alias and hopefully someone will respond in the next day or so. The simplest solution may be to uninstall and reinstall, but let's see if one of our tech staff have a better alternative first. Thanks for ...

Hi Shaun,
We built the Web Service to do this since it cannot be done programmatically without a Web Service. You can filter SharePoint list using qRules v2.0 and owssvr but for SQL filtering on the server, you'll have to install a server component.
Good luck!
