I can't preview your form - I don't have access to your SharePoint site :)
-
Your screenshot looks right to me - what are you trying to calculate that isn't working? You can also attach a form under the options tab.
-
My guess would be that you aren't able to access the lists web service from your browser form - check the SharePoint ULS logs after submit. You may have to disable loopback check. Since you said SharePoint 2013, I was assuming you are using an on-prem server?
-
Try this one. In your filter, you were comparing the ID in the secondary data connection to the ID in the same secondary data connection. You need, instead, to compare it to the ID in the main data connection data fields.

Great job getting it working & thanks for updating with what works to help others!

Thanks, jackdobiash, you are right, this is not a Microsoft site - I suppose the MSDN forums may be an option for posting about the issue as well - with InfoPath having been deprecated, I don't know how much attention MS pays to that either! :-)

XML stores dates as yyyy-MM-dd, so your regex will need to take that into account. Is this on a date field?
-
RemovePI is just for DBXL PI, I think. So use Delete and just add /dsname=WW208-caregiverStrainIndex to target the secondary data source.
-
I think Delete /xpath=/processing-instruction()[local-name(.) = "mso-infoPathSolution"] would do the trick.....
-
No idea why the browser has the PI and the Filler doesn't! But I'd just add the remove command first, then you are covered. :-) EDITED TO ADD: wait, is there a remove pi command? I think we have to use Delete for this.... I'll go find the syntax.
