Is it possible to have a form attached to a SharePoint list that has one section that isn't repeating and one that is?

The Form template (XTP) you attached is not downloading for some reason, but have you had a chance to look at our history XTPs? If one of these works for your purpose, then it might save you the trouble of designing a new XTP.

Thanks for including the error information. Is that coming from the Application log? If so, the Qdabra log might have more info.
Another suggestion would be to try reshredding the documents from the DBXL admin tool.
Since the form is submitting successfully to DBXL, I assume the reshredding will tell us more about the mapping issue and why ...

I’ve done some testing since, I duplicated the list
structure in a play pen we have set up, updated the blanks (null fields) with a
value of test… updated the connection and the form worked perfectly…. the Blank
values are corrupting the lookup in some way…

Same issue here. We running InfoPath 2007. Developer has left and I am a bit stuck.
I check the rules behind the Submit button and spot something of concern.
