I'm having the same problem. Mine happens in a repeating table and when the Doctors ID is entered, a rule pulls in his last and first name. it then thinks, jumps up and down.
Anyone got this figured out?

I should have been more specific. Your attempt was:
concat("Delete /xpath=my:myFields/my:BPResults/my:BPSubmit[last()]/my:ID /value=", ID)
The Delete command does not have a /value parameter.

I couldn't find anything in the command overview that gave an example of filtering the xpath in the delete command.

I do greatly appreciate your response. I would love to upgrade to 2010, and do have access to it on my personal computer. Unfortunately this workstation is government issued. They control the vertical and horizontal, so to speak:-). I did find this: ...

Couldn't find the log file. but we ran the vb code withou the text file write and it worked. I looked in both servers for the logs. Thanks

Never mind. I needed to look in the command overview document.

Not sure if I have the correct user guide. It's 50 pages but I don't see a section that shows the correct syntax for the delete command.

Did you find the actual error message in the trace log? The error message may help you figure out the issue with your code. Or help me help you.

New issue. It works great as long as I only make changes in one column. If I make changes in other columns it stops working properly. I put the rule on each field that could change in the repeating table.

It had something to do with the vb code writing to a text file.
