• Re: Control/Limit Printing of Repeating Table Rows

You could look into creating a section (or a view) that you can print. Printing the view that the users use to fill out the form is likely not going to give you the result you want. You can have two "modes" in your form: "fill out" and "print". While filling out hide the sections designed for printing, and ...

  • Re: Serial for Repeating table data

Sorry, but the technique I suggested only works for exact matches. It sounds like you'll have to query everything and filter in the form itself. You could also look into some tutorials for REST data connections and see if that works for you. Good luck!

  • Re: What does shredding actually do?

Yes, shredding pushes the latest XML data in DBXL to both SQL and SharePoint, according to the mappings that have been set up in DBXL. You should reshred whenever the mappings change, for example, columns added to the SQL mapping or a condition added to the ShP mapping.

  • Re: Como limitar las busquedas en sharepoint

Hola, En las opciones de cada biblioteca, puedes escoger si SharePoint debe incluirla al hacer busquedas. Simplemente coloca esa opción en "No" para las que quieras excluir de busquedas. Suerte!

  • Re: Save & Submit Button on SharePoint 2010 List Form

List forms don't "submit" an XML form, though. In a list form, the only option available to the user is save the list items to the list.

  • Re: Serial for Repeating table data

Hi- The easiest way of filtering data that comes from a SharePoint list data connection is by setting the queryFields, and letting the data connection filter the data. If you query all list data, then filter on the view (by hiding rows) the form might encounter performance issues if the data set is large. Your question is not clear. Can you ...

  • Re: DateDiff Output when less than 1 day

Hi- I guess one option is to have a rule, with the condition Result is blank, which does whatever is needed in this scenario. If DateDiff outputs 1 in this scenario, it's an incorrect calculation. :) So I think you'll have to let DateDiff do it's calculation and just have rules afterwards (with conditions) for the two options (when ...

  • Re: Promote Form Fields to Column names for Multiple forms to one library

Hi- I think this is a problem you'll encounter whenever there are multiple content types in a single form library. Since each form is different, each XSN will have its own set of promoter properties and I can see where if you have 10 forms in one form library managing the columns / promoted properties can become unwieldy. Sadly, ...

  • Re: Infopath to create two list items

Hi- The out of the box data connection to submit to a form library will submit the entire main data source as an XML into the form library. I don't know of a way to generate multiple/separate XML forms and submit each one individually. Maybe you could write some custom code or a web service to achieve this, but there's nothing in ...
