Hi there.
Unfortunately, Share point is a flat data structure and not a database. It cannot display repeating elements or relational data.
You would need to use SQL if you want to capture and report on this. www.qdabra.com has the tools for this.

Hi.
In InfoPath you enter a value into a query field and it will return only the records which math the query data.
So in your form set ID for example to 1 and then run the query.
The only record returned will be the record with ID1, if it exists.
I am guessing that is your issue.
I alsways recommend createing a new form, based on your ...

Hi There.
You have found one of the deficiencies of SharePoint. It is a flat data structure. So you cannot display repeating elements or relational structures.
The best solution is to use SQL. I have done this same thing many times with the Database Accelerator from www.qdabra.com. You can have any relational data ...

There is probably some script for datediff of time to calculate it natively.
I do not think InfoPath can calculate time difference natively.
I would think you would have to use string functions to parse the hours and minutes seperately and then do math comparisons and then you concat to recreate a time value in the correct format.

The hard part would be detecting character position.
When you select the drop down you would leave the text region
You would need to keep track of the last position or the user would need to enter that position.

You need to use rules and submit actions on your buttons to specify each submit type.
If you use the packaged submit then it only does one by default.

You need a list of dates probably, either inside the form, in Xml, in a SP list or whatever.
Then you would just use a filter to show the selected dat plus 6 or whatever.

InfoPath cannot connect to Sybase natively.
You would need to use a web service from Sybase or use SQL or Access to connect to Sybase via ODBC and then have IP connect to the MS data.
You must be using code.
I would try dumping / displaying the data from your secondary connection and make sure there is not some spaces padded or something that ...

Are you using an external data source for the dropdown values?
If so make sure the data connection queries on load.
That should be it.
We would need more detail on the drop down in question.

Check your SQL permissions.
Can you connect to the SQL datbase via ODBC? You could try linking to external data from the DB with Excel for instance.
