Hi,
You need to make this XPath:
xdxDocument:get-DOM()/dfs:myfields/dfs:datafields/d:tblMainAuditInfo/d:tblSAAudit/@Category
Be this:
current()/d:tblSAAudit/@Category
If that doesn't work, try this:
current()/../d:tblSAAudit/@Category
Hope this helps!

Ah, so you want to fiddle with FileNet to try to get it to work as a replacement for SharePoint? I haven't worked with FileNet, but this is bound to be nigh impossible. The only thing I can think of is linking the two backend file storage systems (FileNet + DBXL or SharePoint) somehow.

I have seen this scenario before and it can get annoying. When using code, I use a global isLoading variable that is set to true in OnLoad, but I don't think this will help you since you are using rules. The only thing I can suggest is that you could add a condition on your rule so that it only fires when the value of the field ...

Hi Gangi,
This should be a relatively easy conditional formatting expression. For the child nodes, add a conditional formatting rule that hides them when their parent is not selected. If your DB is normalized properly, you should be able to do this recursively, but if it's not doing it with a static depth should be even more ...

Great question! SharePoint kind of stores forms in a database, but the Qdabra Database Accelerator (DBXL) stores them in the database and ALSO allows you to define a mapping between the XML and other relational tables so that you can shred the actual data into the SQL tables and then run reports on it later. This is the core feature, ...

Hi SShariq and welcome to the forum!
I hate to break it to you, but printing from InfoPath has always been very painful! There really is no easy way to do it. What you could try is shredding your XML forms into a relational database with our DBXL tool, and then creating a SQL Report on top of this. However, this is still not ...

Hello Steve and welcome to the forums!
The ExecuteAction() method is shaky at best - it has a lot of dependencies on view state, user context, and a lot of other things. It is usually best to implement these functions on your own. To insert a new row in the repeating section you need to do this:Load the template.xml or sampledata.xml into a ...

Hi Francis and welcome to the forums!
I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to do. I know I can attach the debugger to the INFOPATH.exe process to catch debugging symbols, but I have never tried to do what you are doing.
Why exactly are you trying to do this?

Hi Mancha,
Unforunately, you cannot open IE without saving the file temporarily. Even if you did save the file and then passed the path to IE, your form would require Full Trust, which is a major pain.
The best idea I can think of is using the taskpane to render your output, and then have the user expand it out really ...

See this blog post for a great tutorial on accomplishing this: http://www.infopathdev.com/blogs/matt/archive/2006/02/02/Setup-Namespaces-for-a-Secondary-Data-Source.aspx
