Hi Deep and welcome,
Seems like the control is read-only. You should check that.

Hi Andrew and welcome,
I just responded to another thread and explained why having a tight coupling to SQL is a bad idea. Check it out: http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/t/14967.aspx
Probably the easiest thing for you to do is to just query the table and see if the ID exists and if it does, hide the button that submits. You don't need to ...

Hi Cowboy206 and welcome!
I'm not sure this is related to InfoPath. Can't you use the SharePoint Designer to remove the Edit This Task setting?

Hi Dave and welcome!
First off, if you set AutoComplete on in Internet Explorer, InfoPath will show users the last items they typed into the fields. That's easy money for you and is the simplest way to get "cookies" to show up on a per field basis. AutoCorrect is another feature that can be used with custom dictionaries to replace ...

Hi Ashok and thanks for posting!
Sure, you can do this with two queries. Qdabra Software (company that pays for this free site) sells an Active Directory Web Service that you can use to get this. Just call it once with current user. Then, call it again with manager. There's even a free version available as part of the DBXL trial. Both ADWS ...

Hi Kesava,
Can you take the code out of the On Load event handler and put it somewhere else?
I'm guessing you are trying to auto-populate values in your form on load. If that's correct, please take a look at the free trial of qRules 2.1. We added a new function for Swapping DOM on load to work around this limitation in ...
