The automatic checkout blog post you referenced doesn't use qRules? So - you put the query fields on the form, populate them, and click the button - nothing is returned in the data fields at all? May I see your form?

Hi! for the first question, you could add a script editor web part to your page with this:
<script type="text/javascript" src="https://code.jquery.com/jquery-3.3.1.min.js"></script>
for the second question, the Internet Archive Wayback Machine has it and you can download it from there - the blog ...

I don't see a field named "Timestamp" in the data source for the form you provided - if the row is in a different list than the list this form has been used to customize, you'll need to use SharePoint Designer Workflow or MS Flow to update the other list. If it is the same list, I'd guess you need to first query for the list ...

You could probably set the query to not run when the form opens (this is a checkbox toward the end of the dialogs when you set up the data connection) and then set the query field to the value you wish to look for on your button click, followed by a rule to ...

I'd guess this could be done with rules - you'd have to add some helper fields to handle for the various cases when your months could push date 2 to the next year(s) - will you have an upper limit on how many months the user can add?

Can you switch your query to use a View? Or is this a main data source query?

I don't see a screenshot attached - you can add one under the Options tab in a reply. I have had issues before with something similar, but usually only when I've been unplugging my external monitor while IP is open. I'm assuming this happens on more computer than just yours?

So - you'd be updating an item in a different list? Or the same list as this form uses?
