Here is a thread that describes what I'm talking about for hiding while emailing: http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/p/24141/83663.aspx#83663
The things I know that turned out to be the most important to me when working with InfoPath are:You can have multiple controls bound to the same field, even in the same view (you know this one now ...

Wow I think that worked! I dragged the same multi-select check box right next the existing, user selection one and made the new one a Read-only bulleted list. The new bulleted list changes when the user make selections in the other one.
I just started learning InfoPath so I'm not real familiar with operating the conditional formatting to ...

Thanks Hillary that's exactly what I needed!!
For anyone interested, the 2 expressions that made this work properly were:

Unfortunately, since the mapping tool for that command doesn't currently surface libraries, it involves hand editing the mapping, and it will also involve ...

You bet - when you get things resolved, please update the thread so that others can benefit. :)

Thanks Hilary, but that wouldn't work as I need to attach an approval workflow to the attachment.

Hilary, I thought I might update you on the situation. After doing what you suggested I did indeed find out that what you mentioned above was happening. It's because I built the site for the client using claims based authentication in an attempt to ease things when eventually upgrading them to 2013. This is causing no end of ...

Try this one - I added another condition on your summary table.
