Hi Chris,
As far as I know SharePoint doesn't provide a way to enumerate all users. Qdabra's Active Directory Web Service does and it also comes with a cool contact selector XTP that will make your form load quickly and allow users to add people by typing a part of their name. Check it out here: ...

Hi ITomsc and thanks for posting,
We should probably take a look at the code in your form that is querying patients. It may rely on MSXML and you may not have the right version of MSXML installed since you have a strange config. I will file a support request tonight and have someone contact you in the next day or so.
Thanks for your ...

InfoPath supports Outlook email. One idea would be to use a server notification that sends an email. We do this for our forms. We submit them to a database and the database has a trigger that sends an email. Because the server is sending the email, no email client is required. A link to the form gets sent and that can be opened by the recipient. ...

I think the easiest thing would be to use a Barcode font and have the user put the cursor in the field and then scan the barcode. After scanning, they must click a button. Hi Atul,
qRules provides an easy way to do this and many other things. The SaveToSharePoint command is probably one of the most popular features. Here's a document describing this: http://www.infopathdev.com/files/folders/qrules/entry40104.aspx
You can download a free trial. The library is very inexpensive. Qdabra pays for this free forum by ...

Hi Shabbir,
Qdabra pays for this free forum. Qdabra provides qRules, a library of common features that can be injected into your form. Using qRules, a Forms Designer does not have to add code. They use rules. One of the popular features that qRules provides is uploading images and file attachments from your form to a SharePoint document library ...

Looks like the form has code which creates the name and that name may be a duplicate with one that already exists.
Can you save it locally and use SharePoint's upload? If not, maybe a form with that already exists. If you can, then it must be some problem with the code. Do you have the SaveAs code for your form?

Hi Art,
This is a frequent requirement. Some ideas:
push the vendor's data into a SQL table and add a data connection to your form that pulls data into it using a Web Service that filters based on the user
use an XML schema in Excel and export the CSV as XML locally. add an import XSLT to your XSN for that XSD and have the users ...

We use SQL databases for these kind of scenarios and have never seen this. I don't really know but here are a couple questions:
Is it always the same users or do they change?
Do the users have the same internet settings for the server that the Access MDB is on? Is it on a server in the same domain?
