Well, there are several problems with this code:
- inspdate1 would not be defined - it's a name of a data field. Typically you have to select the XPathNavigator corresponding to your data field from the DOM you're interested in. In this case, however, the navigator is available as e.Site: you get the value as e.Site.Value and you set it ...

So were you able to get it to work this time around? If not, could you give more details of what you are doing and it is breaking?

Data formatting is your friend here...
- Double-click on your control (whether it's a data picker or a textbox, does not matter)
- Click on the "Format" button
You should see two sections, one for date and one for time. Make sure "(Do not display time)" is selected in the second section.
Disclaimer: I have only tried ...

The titles are usually just text so they always show. In your case, the table header will not be affected.
If you drag in a node from the Data Source pane, InfoPath Designer usually inserts the node name as plain text next to the control. If this is the title you're talking about, then just keep one piece text and two controls. The text will ...

Like I said, you can just insert both:

Why cannot you just add both the textbox and the dropdown?
You can then conditionally format them such that if the current row is 3, you hide the textbox, otherwise you hide the dropdown.

I am not sure I understand what you mean by a "batch file". Is this an XML data source? If it is you can definitely bind a textbox to it and you can populate a dropdown control with values from it. Not sure if I got your question right, though, could you please be more specific?

Are you sure you didn't misspell it? You code looks correct but the error says"DataAdaters" with a "p" missing :)
Also, to submit, you want to call .Submit() and not .Query()
You can read this for more details: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb229877.aspx
Good luck!

Well, I'm glad you have found a workaround! :)

Oh wait, of course, you cannot host InfoPath 2003! You can only do external automation with it.
Hosting of InfoPath in another application was only introduced with InfoPath 2007, sorry :(
